Fascinating account. When I saw the photograph, I did not think this was anywhere in Brooklyn! But what an account. This lady managed to upset folks in England, the Puritans of Salem and Peter Stuyvesant! A woman after my own heart. Sad to think that the venue for the first Quaker meeting in the US no longer stands.
